The Red Sea is amongst the best in the world for diving

It is little wonder that water sports fans and scuba divers enjoy the weather in Hurghada. Average sea temperatures in this wonderful resort are 20º in January and reach a gorgeous 26º from July to September. However, exceptional winter temperatures ensure comfortable, rewarding diving and water sports all year round. Many diving fans agree the best visibility is from May to October. The temperature allows you to dive without thick wetsuits and when you have to get out, there's a chilled drink and bit of nice sun to chill out under, chatting over what you have just seen and of course planning the next dive.

There are lots of great local dive schools who will help you to complete beginners courses as well as helping highly experienced technical divers get the most from their trip. You can undergo training with internationally recognised schemes like that of PADI or just go to enjoy diving and practice your skills.
